First Indian in Olympic Table Tennis Round of 16
Manika Batra has created history as she has been the first Indian player to enter into the round of 16 of the Olympic singles competition in table tennis. The 29-year-old sealed a ruthless win of 4-0 against Prithika Pavade from France. All of Batra’s games went up to four sets wherein she triumphantly won getting 11-9, 11-6, 11-9 and 11-7, on the hand of her opponent.
