What’s Behind the Revolution in Food Tech

Emily Harayda, together with her co founder, is changing the landscape of fresh produce through their start-ups known as AgStacked. AgStacked’s transplantation platform optimizes quality transparency and reduces food wastage by offering timely information on chains. This critical technology shortens the cycle of getting agricultural produce from the farm to the consumer’s table despite the fact that most of the produce has a relatively short lifespan. By July 2023, AgStacked could gather a major investment led by APX Axel Springer Porsche that allowed the company to explore the Dutch and the German markets.

In striving to solve the problem of food shortage in the world, Harayda, as a woman in the food tech industry, is also paving the way towards an optimised future. Her leadership in AgStacked is evident, showing how women are now at the forefront of major transformations in fields that were previously dominated by men.
